About

We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist quality products for use in ground investigation, water well and geothermal drilling applications, dynamic sampling rigs, rotary rig tooling,  landfill gas and leachate extraction and high load railway drainage pipes.

Here we take a look back over the years since MGS started out in 1988. Click on the photos if you’d like a closer look!

1988

MGS (Marton Geotechnical Services) was formed as a partnership in 1988 by directors Martin Clegg and Tony Osborne, initially to supply products to the UK on-shore drilling industry, mainly wellscreen and Bentonite products.
